A day in the mountains can whet a hearty appetite. So there is plenty of scope for fine dining. Whether you choose to cook for yourself or let external caterers take care of your meals, ambience is the key. The dining area is alongside the grand reception room so you can enjoy the log fire in winter; and in summer, you may dine al fresco on the balcony overlooking the broad valley stretching well past Sion some 15 km away.

Self-catering
The kitchen does not just look good, it is designed for cooking. Creative cooks can happily indulge themselves. With a good sized oven, electric hob and microwave, it is fully equipped to cater for 8 hungry people. There is also a large fridge and freezer plus plenty of space for storage and preparation. And when it is all over, there is a quiet dishwasher.

Food shops are close to the cable car station, about 10 minutes walk. There are two mini markets plus a healthy number of general and specialist stores, one of which will deliver.

Catered
If you want effortless, fine dining at La Corniche, you can choose to have the evening meal catered. There are two options: either have a prepared evening meal delivered to you, ready to be transferred to the table or have a team arrive at La Corniche complete with chef who will cook, serve, clear up and disappear.
