Transport links to Haute Nendaz are excellent. Whether travelling by road, rail or air, communications are fast and easy.

Air

Geneva airport is less than 2 hours away by car. Many major airlines fly there with connections not just from capital cities but from European regional airports too. Basle is 2 hours 30 minutes away. Only 30 minutes from Haute Nendaz is Sion airport where Snowjet, a specialist ski flight company, operates a weekend route to London Stansted throughout the winter season. The check-in time at Sion airport is only 1 hour which means that Secret Alps guests can ski on Sunday morning before returning to London in time for tea. Sion airport is also home to Air-Glaciers who can arrange heliskiing and local tours while Alpine Jet Services offers private helicopter transfers. Whitetracks Helicopters operates a shared helicopter service from Geneva airport to Beuson, a 10 minute drive to Secret Alps. Flight time from Geneva to Beuson is 35 minutes. Rail
Switzerland is renowned for its fast and reliable trains. The closest railway station is at nearby Sion making rail links to all over Europe simple. The train journey from Paris to Sion, for instance, takes 5 hours while London St Pancras to Sion takes about 9 hours. The railway station at Geneva airport provides airline passengers with a direct 2 hour transfer to Sion. Tickets can be bought in advance (online or, often easier, by phone) or at the station from SBB, the Swiss rail company. The pricing system can be complex. Look for special offers on Family Tickets or a Swiss Transfer Ticket which is an economic way of getting from any airport to Nendaz and back. Road
There is a regular bus connection from Sion to the centre of the resort. Driving is straightforward and car hire is available at all airports and at Sion. Take the A9 motorway to Sion, exit at Sion-Ouest, signposted to Nendaz. It is then 15 km up to Haute Nendaz. Drivers arriving in the winter season should have snow tyres fitted, carry snow chains and be prepared to use them!

In the resort, there are numerous free shuttle buses. One plies between Nendaz and Siviez (a key entry point to the 4 Valleys) and another follows a one-way circuit around the resort, stopping only metres from Secret Alp's door.
